How to edit an industry

Before you start

You need the Admin role to manage industries.

Update the industry

1. Go to Admin > Industries.
2. In the Industry list, find the industry you want to update.
3. Open the row actions menu.
4. Select Edit.
5. In the Edit industry window, update the value in Industry.
6. Select Save changes.

What happens next

Scopra updates the industry in your company’s list and uses the new name anywhere that industry appears in client records.

If you cannot save your changes

You cannot rename an industry to a value that already exists for your company. Scopra also treats names with different casing, spaces, or special characters as duplicates.
