How to create an industry

Before you start

You need the Admin role to manage industries.

Add the industry

Go to Admin > Industries.
Select Add industry.
In the Add industry window, enter the industry name in Industry.
Select Create industry.

What happens next

Scopra adds the new value to the Industry list on the Industries page. It is then available in the Industry dropdown when you create a client or edit an existing client.

If you cannot save the industry

You cannot save a duplicate industry for the same company. Scopra treats names with different casing, spaces, or special characters as the same industry.

Note: If your company has not added any industries yet, the Industries page shows No industries added yet until you create the first one.
